My nana was diagnosed with liver cancer in its secondary stages on the 6th of march 2008 and she died on the 9th of march of the same year.
She had been admitted to hospital to have gall stones removed from her liver which resulted in her being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The doctors could not give her any chemotherapy or do anything for her all they could do was manage her pain.
She was an amazing mother and grandmother and her family was her life. She was a beautiful person who radiated love.
We miss her more than words can ever express.
She was the one i confided in as a child and as an adult.
She was like a second mother to me. She knew all my secrets and kept them forever.
I'm not doing justice to how amazing she was in this eulogy as there are simply not enough words to enable me to.
Myself and my mum were by her side to the very end of her life.
The emptiness left in our hearts can never be filled.
Give Uncle Steven a great big hug for me, love you both so much and can't wait until we are together again xxxx

But there is an ache within my heart
